Have a question?
I would like to know, can some one with HIV work in the health deptartment, or in the hospital?

If a man with AIDS does not want to inform his wife and she later contracts the disease, what are the legal ramifications, if any, to the doctor taking care of the patient? Is all of the responsibility on the husband to tell his wife?

I am a student in The Health Services Deptartment at University of Phoenix and in my ethics class I was asked to find out if someone with the AIDS virus had to tell the Health Department or can they keep their medical condition completely cofidential? I mean confidential except to their doctors.

I have a friend whose husband is HIV positive and has been for over 10 years. They have two children who were conceived after he was already infected. She claims that she doesn't have HIV. Anyway, she's going to school right now to become a nurse. Is she compromising the lives of the other students by being enrolled in our school?
